- 3 cups sifted powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1-1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Blend butter and sugar together in a large bowl. Stir in milk and vanilla until smooth. You can use an electric hand mixer if desired.
Makes enough for 2 8-9″ layers or a 13″ x 9″ oblong cake.
