• 9 cups Corn Chex, Rice Chex, or Chocolate Chex cereal (or a combination)
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1-1/2 cups powdered sugar

Add Chex cereal(s) to a large bowl. In a 1-quart microwaveable bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave uncovered on high for 1 minute. Stir. Microwave 30 seconds longer, or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in the vanilla.

Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Pour into a 2-gallon resealable plastic bag. Add powdered sugar to plastic bag. Seal bag and shake until cereal is well coated.

Spread on waxed paper to cool. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
