• 8 ounces fettuccine noodles
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 5 crisply cooked bacon slices, crumbled
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup frozen peas, thawed

Cook pasta according to package directions; drain and pour into a large serving bowl.

Meanwhile, mix milk, mayonnaise, and garlic in a small saucepan. Heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, blend in egg. Pour over hot fettuccine and toss well to coat the pasta. Gently fold in the remaining ingredients. 

Garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
