- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/3 cup honey
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2-1/2 lb salmon fillet
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Lemon slices (optional)
- Fresh chopped parsley (optional)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with foil; set aside.
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Add the honey, garlic, and lemon juice. Whisk until the honey has melted through the butter and the mixture is well combined.
Place salmon onto lined baking sheet. Pour butter mixture over salmon and use a pastry brush or spoon to spread evenly over salmon. Sprinkle with pepper. Fold the sides of the foil over the salmon to cover and completely seal the salmon in a packet.
Bake 15-18 minutes until fish flakes easily with a fork. Open the foil and broil for 2-3 minutes to caramelize the top.
Garnish with lemon and parsley if desired.
