• 2 lbs flank or other lean beef steak
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup dry red wine
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 scallions, minced
  • 1/8 tsp ground coriander
  • 6 whole peppercorns
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger

Place steak in a glass baking dish or large Ziploc bag. In a medium bowl, mix together all remaining ingredients. Pour over steak. Cover (or seal bag) and marinate in refrigerator for at least 6 hours.

Drain marinade. Grill or broil steak to desired level of doneness. Slice thin across the grain and serve.
