- 2 cups sugar
- 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp powdered sugar
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 10″ fluted tube baking pan with no-stick spray and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Add eggs, coffee, buttermilk, oil, and vanilla; beat on medium speed for 2 minutes (batter will be thin). Pour into baking pan.
Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar.
