Bread

  • 3/4 cup + 3 tbsp water
  • 3 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 2 tbsp nonfat dry milk powder
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1-1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 2-1/4 tsp bread machine yeast

Topping

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 tsp dried rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt

Add bread ingredients to bread machine pan in the order suggested by manufacturer. Select dough/manual cycle. When cycle is complete, remove dough from machine to a lightly floured surface. Cover and let rest for 15 minutes. Knead for 1 minute.

Roll into a 15″ x 10″ rectangle. Transfer to a 15″ x 10″ x 1″ baking pan. Press dough 1/4″ up the sides of pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 20-30 minutes or until slightly risen.

With a wooden spoon handle, make indentations at 1″ intervals. Brush dough with oil; sprinkle with cheese, rosemary, and garlic salt.

Bake at 400 degrees for 13-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool slightly. Cut into squares; serve warm.
